Sometimes blipping up to 11 satoshis (or even 24). Not great, I admit. But, then again, what is pricewise in Crypto land these days? Without any useful real-world acceptance it will stay that way for a while: Mintcoin or not, Bitcoin and otherwise. Badmouthing is easy, but it is only that.

And as far as your "research" goes, googling is not researching. If you cannot find "your" expected result on page 1 this still does not necessarily mean that a project is deprecated :)

Get real, indeed.

MINT is, BTW, still trading in that range -- like pretty much every other Alt coin out there.

Re: How To Avoid Getting Screwed With Altcoins

Hilarious

Re: 4 Question Interview With Bryce Weiner

BryceWeiner will be in live exclusive today 3/6/2015 on http://dogecoindark.net/radio/ at 8PM CST 9PM EST

Re: How To Avoid Getting Screwed With Altcoins

pierdole

Re: RibbitCoin (FROG) – A New Cryptocurrency That Rewards Users

Hello Paycoin.ws, just seen this.
Here is the current exchanges
you can find
this.
https://bittrex.com/Market/...
https://www.swisscex.com/ma...
https://www.melotic.com/mar...

marketplace.Life
will be launching soon and merchants can sign up here if they like.
http://www.marketplace.life... is a new article here on
Bravenewcoin
http://bravenewcoin.com/new...

Also
our merchant module that will allow ecommerce merchants to plugin to
the Ribbit Rewards blockchain and rewards users on their own platform
for Magento, WooCommerce, Opencart + others will be live soon.

We
try and get everything out once it has fully tested and keep our
community happy, thus we are not giving hard launch dates.

Hop Forth!

Re: RibbitCoin (FROG) – A New Cryptocurrency That Rewards Users

you wrote "RibbitRewards listing on crypto-currency exchanges Melotic, C-Cex, Poloniex and shapeshift.io immediately upon launch. Unlike other coins, they have a great plan. They are building a 100% decentralized tip platform and they have a great devs team. It's still risky, but price increase in 2014. One of the only alt to increase in 2014... it mean something to me.

Everyone who believe bitcoin will be the only cryptocurrency use in 5 years is delusional. Many altcoins will survive and grow to cover niche usage (like micro-transaction and Reddcoin).

Re: The Altcoin Great Depression May Be Overblown

One of the biggest things I think would help is for people to consider the older coins more. I see people saying they want a coin with no premine and a well known developer team, and it seems strange that the actual big offerings (Bit, Lite, Doge, Peer, Black, Dark, etc.) don't seem to appeal any more. Bitcoin is new and experimental; any altcoin is therefore even more new and experimental. There's still plenty of time to be an extremely early adopter in Bitcoin, let alone the other coins.

The chances that the next big thing will appear from a random team you've never heard of and who have no history with cryptocurrency technology is extremely slim.

Oh, and I'm not at all convinced by ICOs. There's a place for funded and unfunded coins, but IMHO funded coins should have milestones they hit before they get the next round of funding, not get a huge sack of money at the start.

Re: LTCGear.com Drags Out Collapse

When does the denial stage end?

Re: LTCGear.com Drags Out Collapse

Thanks man. Usually along with "Chris" (the operator) "is a good guy". People don't seem to understand that charisma is a common trait among shysters, it enables them to do what they do. LTCGear will probably just stop updating, stay static, and the true believers will dwindle bit by bit as the weeks go by, similar to the people "playing along" with the scammer playing with his prey at hashie.co., and the people believing that Paycoin will turn around "any day now" with GAW.

At this point. a lot of us are convinced that precisely zero cloud mining operations are legitimate. Warnings went out early, but those who warned were shouted down as "shills" (for who??) or as you mentioned, spreading "FUD".

Later on, when these schemes do collapse, those same apologists will deride anyone who got burned for "not seeing it coming". (Either to mask their own losses or just make themselves feel better.) And let's not forget the eternal, "I got paid, it can't be a scam because I got paid - I don't know what you did wrong."

Just because you made ROI, does not mean it wasn't a scam. Just because you got out in the nick of time, doesn't mean it wasn't a scam. Nor does it mean that it's the fault of the victims. Don't confuse luck with smarts. To seem legitimate, some people in a scam have to profit - usually the earliest comers. Just like in a casino, even if the games are rigged, a jackpot has to happen every once in a while to keep people feeding their coins into the slot machines.

The days of getting rich quick with cryptocurrency are gone. They were gone a bit more than two years ago, with the exception of people who are involved in pump and dumps; which is just a fast-action scam in itself, anyways. Even those who did hold their $2 bitcoin, I have a hard time believing they were visionaries - they were likely just lucky to have a bubble happen. Now we're seeing BTC fall to a reasonable norm. (It probably hasn't even reached that level yet.)

Some alts that concentrate on more than just price, and bitcoin itself, if you play your cards right, may allow you to get "moderately OK, kind of slowly". But anyone promising to make you rich expediently is not doing so altruistically.

But, of course, those who have a lot (perhaps too much) invested, people who have taken out loans to invest in GAW, Hashie, LTCGear - won't want to hear this, and it'll be the same lines: FUD, shill, know-nothing, etc. OK - it's your money and sure, the cost is sunk. But the warnings were out there all along.

Re: Doge Faucets Are A Great Way To Get Free Dogecoins

hello i made my new faucet please add it to your list , thank you !

http://banirapid.ro

Re: How To Explain Cryptocurrency To Newbies

Crypto shouldn't have to be "explained to newbies." It should just work intuitively like any good mainstream software application does. We're focused on exactly that. Crypto (and bitcoin for that matter) has not met the challenge of mainstream adoption. It needs a killer app.

We're NectarCoin. We're working on a decentralised, peer-to-peer, user-friendly messenger-based solution that is focused from the start on mainstream consumer and business adoption. Crowdsale is within the next two weeks.
